Big Ocean Creative (“we”, “us”) is a marketing and design business owned and operated by Cassy Dlugiewicz. This policy explains what information we collect, why, and what we do with it.

Who this policy covers
This policy applies to visitors to bigoceancreative.com, to clients who engage us for marketing and design services, and to the internal tools we operate, including the Claude Mail Fetch application described below.
Information we collect
From website visitors. If you complete a contact form we collect the information you enter, typically your name, email address, and whatever you write in the message. We also collect standard analytics data about how the site is used, described under Analytics below.
From clients. In the course of providing services we hold business contact details, project materials, brand assets, account credentials where you have provided them, and correspondence relating to the work.
We do not sell personal information to anyone, and we do not share it for advertising purposes.
How we use it

- To deliver and invoice for contracted work
- To maintain and improve our website
- To meet legal and accounting obligations
We keep client records for as long as the relationship continues and for four years afterwards for tax and legal purposes. Contact form submissions that do not lead to work are deleted after 4 years.
Analytics and cookies
This site uses Google Analytics, Gravity Forms, Google Tags and Zapier to understand how visitors use it. These tools set cookies and collect information such as pages viewed, approximate location, and device type. This data is aggregated and is not used to identify individuals.
You can refuse cookies in your browser settings. Some parts of the site may not work correctly if you do.
Service providers
We use third parties to operate the business. Each has access only to what it needs, and each is bound by its own privacy terms:
- Website hosting and infrastructure: Flywheel
- Email and file storage: Google Workspace, Dropbox
- Project management: Trello, Notion
- Analytics and SEO tooling: Google Analytics, Local Falcon
- AI assistance for drafting and internal workflow: Anthropic (Claude)
Claude Mail Fetch
Claude Mail Fetch is a private internal tool. It is not offered to the public, has no other users, and exists solely to help the owner of this business manage her own correspondence.
What it accesses. With the account holder’s explicit consent, it reads message metadata and content from her own Google accounts using the Gmail API, the Google Chat API, and the Google People API. Scopes requested are read-only.
What it does. It produces a summary of recent messages and stores that summary in the account holder’s own private cloud storage, so she can review what has arrived without missing client requests.
What it does not do. It does not send, delete, modify, or label any message. It does not transmit Google user data to any third party. It does not use Google user data for advertising, for building profiles, or for training any AI or machine learning model. No Google user data is sold, and none is disclosed to anyone other than the account holder.
Limited Use. Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. See https://developers.google.com/terms/api-services-user-data-policy
Storage and retention. Summaries are held in private, access controlled cloud storage belonging to the account holder. OAuth tokens are stored locally on her own computer and are never shared. Data can be deleted at any time by deleting those files and revoking the application’s access at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions
Your rights
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted, subject to any records we are legally required to keep. Write to cassy@bigoceancreative.com and we will respond within [30] days.
Depending on where you live you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or state privacy legislation. We will honour those rights where they apply.
Security
We take reasonable measures to protect the information we hold, including access controls, encrypted storage, and limiting access to those who need it. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
Our services are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be noted on this page.
